Clemson beat North Carolina and still look like a dangerous team without one of their star players. Georgia got a big win against Florida and Texas A&M was able to take down Arkansas. Rhode Island, Ohio State, New Mexico State, Auburn, Kentucky, and Xavier all won games as expected. Oklahoma was able to squeak one out against Baylor While TCU beat Oklahoma State. Minnesota took a hard loss to Iowa and are most likely out of the bubble discussion.

Everything Monday night pretty much went according to plan. Michigan took care of Northwestern, Duke handled Notre Dame, Kansas got past Kansas State and Nebraska won over Wisconsin. No games caused any changes in the bracket although Nebraska did move up a spot in my rankings.

TCU and Missouri have taken a tumble. Neither team has done anything terribly wrong but other teams around them are just doing more. NC State had a nice win at North Carolina and are moving up nicely, while St. Mary’s continues to win.

Michigan State handled Wisconsin as expected and after reevaluating the teams resumes a few teams had significant movements. Baylor is just holding on to a spot after falling. St. Mary’s has jumped up nicely and is now in the field. Virginia is looking like a great team and has jumped to the one line.

SMU, Ohio State, and Arizona State all suffered rough losses Thursday. Both SMU and Ohio State fell to teams that are no longer being considered for an at large bid, while Arizona suffered a home loss to Utah. All fell slightly while Arizona State took the biggest tumble. St. Mary’s kept things rolling with a good win over BYU and Purdue added another solid win to their resume with a solid win over Michigan. Big Changes may occur tomorrow as I plan on a big scrubbing to occur.

Friday Bracket Impact Games:

Wisconsin vs. Michigan State

South Carolina went into Gainesville and  took down Florida on the road. The Gamecocks are looking like a possible tournament team come March and are certainly making a push for it. I have moved them up 11 spots in my rankings and now have them as my 5th team out. Auburn got a good win at Missouri and Syracuse was able to handle Boston College. Georgetown suffered a rough loss and may not be able to do enough to get in now but with plenty of chances for good wins I am still leaving them in for consideration. Nevada lost at Wyoming which isn’t a terrible loss, but with no one in the MWC Nevada really can’t afford another loss if they hope to remain a possible at large candidate.

Thursday Bracket Impact Games:

SMU vs. UConn, Michigan vs. Purdue, Penn State vs. Ohio State, Colorado vs. Arizona, UCF vs. Wichita State, Utah vs. Arizona State, California vs. UCLA, Gonzaga vs. Portland, BYU vs. St. Mary’s

Not many changes in the seed list from Tuesday nights games. Oklahoma jumps Kansas with a big win against them at home. Alabama, Minnesota and Texas A&M all dropped a few spots with their losses. While Virginia had a huge win over Clemson and have moved up a few spots as well. No new teams have made their way in yet.
