Morning Roundup 1/10

What an evening of hoops we had last night. Not one, not two, but three big time upsets! #17 Houston lost its first game of the season at Temple leaving Virginia and Michigan as the only two remaining undefeated teams remaining in college basketball. #11 Auburn went into Ole Miss to be completely outplayed and lost by 15. #15 Ohio State went to Rutgers and lost by three giving the Scarlet Knights their first Big Ten win of the season. #21 Marquette barely escaped at Creighton as Sam Hauser knocked in a three as time expired to send the game to overtime where Markus Howard continued his domination finishing the night with 53 points. #9 Virginia Tech and #13 Florida State escaped possible upsets over Georgia Tech and Miami. While #4 Virginia and #10 Nevada eased by and continued to roll. #7 Kansas handled a tough #25 TCU team and continue to win tough fought games. Syracuse got a much needed win over Clemson as both teams sit firmly on the bubble while another bubble team Vanderbilt lost to Georgia. Pittsburgh won their first ACC game since March 7, 2017 as they took down a solid Louisville team and Seton Hall narrowly escaped Butler at home.

96 teams remain undefeated in conference play.
